SAFC have issued advice for supporters ahead of Sunday's game against West Ham United.
Sunderland AFC is advising supporters that Sunday's game against West Ham is set to go ahead as scheduled at 4pm.
The Stadium of Light pitch is in good condition and club staff are working tirelessly to ensure the surrounding areas are clear for Sunday.
The major approach roads to the stadium have been cleared by the local authority.
The club would however advise supporters that car parking at the Stadium may be disrupted as there are large banks of snow from the areas that have been cleared.
Fans are advised to use public transport wherever possible and those travelling to the stadium by car are asked to be patient when entering and leaving the stadium as it is likely to take longer than usual.
The club will continue to monitor weather conditions over the next two days but are not anticipating any issues.
SAFC's head of safety and security, Paul Weir, said: "As it stands we remain confident that the game will go ahead as scheduled. Naturally we would advise supporters to allow longer than usual for their journey to the stadium and to be aware of the weather conditions."
