BLACKPOOL insist they will do all they can to play Sunday’s match against Tottenham.
The return of the big freeze has raised fears that the Bloomfield Road surface, which was unplayable when they were scheduled to play Manchester United two weeks ago, will again be unfit.
But the club insist that every effort will be made to ensure referee Lee Probert does not call off a second televised match this month.
“We will do all we can over the next few days, whatever weather we are hit with,” vowed a club spokesman.
“Hopefully the pitch will be okay and we can play.”
