回帖︰Manchester City v Everton: Eastlands clash beats the big freeze and will go ahead
Manchester City's Premier League clash against Everton at Eastlands tonight has beaten the weather.
Temperatures dropped to -15C in Manchester on Sunday night, but the good news is there has been no fresh snow in the area since Saturday.
And City say the game will go ahead, barring an unexpected turn in the weather - although this is not forcast.
A win for City would see them go top of the table at Christmas for the first time since 1929.
Of the nine scheduled Premier League fixtures over the weekend, which included Sunday's high-profile clash between Chelsea and Manchester United, only two were fulfilled.
Sunderland's game against Bolton beat the freeze, as did Blackburn's game against West Ham, but every other Premier League match was postponed, despite the fact that most of the pitches were playable, due to the treacherous conditions for travelling fans.
