回帖︰The Club is delighted to confirm that tonight's Barclays Premier League match against Everton at the City of Manchester Stadium is definitely ON.
Head Groundsman Lee Jackson reports that the award-winning pitch is perfectly playable, and Club staff have been working hard to make car parks and the surrounding areas safe for supporters.
Supporters are advised, however, to set off earlier than usual for the game, which kicks off at 8pm. The combination of adverse weather conditions and heavy match-day traffic is expected to make journey times longer.
There will be some changes just for tonight - the City Square toilets are frozen and will not be open, nor will City Square be open after the game as usual. Alternative arrangements for hot drinks mean the service might be a bit slower.
Fans are also urged to wrap up well, and not just with a Roberto scarf! The temperature is forecast to be well below freezing tonight, so thermals, a thick coat or padded jacket, and a warm hat are advisable.
Stay warm, sing, clap and cheer, and let's all enjoy a good night despite the weather!
