Priding himself in being an active coach, the Belarus manager gave new instructions to his players after 46 minutes. Hong Kong created a good opportunity to score 54 minutes into the match when Lin Hoang Vuong's hooked ball from the left created a scuffle in front of the goal, and the visitors' defenders had a hard time clearing the ball. Alizar Pasahovich gave Danila Kozel a quick hug as he left the field. Danila Kozel became the new Belarus captain. This half belonged to Hong Kong, who controlled the ball 51 percent of the time.
Hu Xinjia performed admirably for Hong Kong. Dou Jianying was a disappointment, however. Belarus's best player was Radzivon Zialenkavets. On the other hand, Spirydon Skarynchyk's play was disheartening. The match ends 0 - 0.
