Madrid and the Italian club, who have accepted theplayer’s terms, are on the point of agreeing a transfer fee, likely tobe just under 10 million euros. A good bit of business for the Spanishclub, taking into account that the player was brought back to thecapital from Espanyol in 2011 for 5.5 million. The player will travel toNaples on Tuesday to sign the deal, which according to ‘TuttoNapoli’will be for four seasons.
The striker has gone up in value because he knew how to takeadvantage of the chances Mourinho gave him, especially in the firstseason. 1,368 minutes in 36 games, with 13 goals. That gave him moreminutes in the second season: 2,017 in 41 games, though he only hit theback of the net seven times.
