Mini Kroos moves to WerderFelix Kroos made 27 appearances in the 2. Bundesliga for Hansa Rostock
Werder Bremen have completed their second new signing aherad of the upcoming 2010/11 season. Felix Kroos, brother of Toni and formerly of Hansa Rostock, has signed the dotted line on a 3-year contract running until 30.06.2013 with Bremen.The 19-year old attacking player has been on the clubs wishlist for some time now: "Felix Kroos is a very talented player. We've been monitoring his progress intensively over the last few years and are pleased the transfer has now been completed. After a difficult season with Hansa Rostock this is the right step for him to take", explained Werder chairman, Klaus Allofs.
"Everything I hear about Werder is positiveFelix Kroos agreed with Allofs assessment and had this to say about his transfer: "I needed to do something new to further my development. My goal is to become a fully fledged Bundesliga player. There are several top class stars a Werder who will help me progress as a player when I train with them and I'm very excited about being given the chance to play for a club like this."
Having had 5 different trainers during his two year stint at Rostock the midfield man is pleased to be moving to more stable surroundings: "Everything I know and hear about Werder Bremen and Thomas Schaff is positive. That gives a player security", explained the younger of the two Kroos brothers as he looks forward to working together with Werder's head trainer.
