Juventus and Manchester United continue to discuss the possibility of a Dybala-Lukaku exchange: the latest

It is no secret that Manchester United's Romelu Lukaku is an appealing target to many clubs.
While Inter were closest to the Belgian, a deal seems unfavourable for the Nerazzurri as it stands.
This is because Juventus have entered the race and taken the lead to sign the striker, proposing an exchange involving Paulo Dybala.
The Bianconeri value the Argentine at ?100 million and for this reason, they feel that this exchange is in both clubs interest (with no cash sum needed to be included in the deal).
Lukaku, on the other hand, is said to be valued at ?82/83 million.
What remains, however, is to understand Dybala's willingness to accept the transfer, as well as the possible agreement between the two clubs.

Juventus are favourites to sign Romelu Lukaku despite claims from Inter Milan that they are "still working" for the Belgian striker, Sky Sports News understands.

Manchester United are in talks over the potential signing of Juventus forward Paulo Dybala.

It is understood negotiations are at a very early stage and there is no guarantee United will make an offer for the Argentina forward, or that he would welcome a move to Old Trafford.

However, it is understood Juventus are willing to let Dybala leave as they are keen on United forward Romelu Lukaku.

The 25-year-old scored 10 goals for Juventus last season.

Lukaku is also of interest to Inter Milan, although the Serie A side have not come close to meeting United's valuation of the Belgium striker.

Among Dybala's goals for Juventus last season was the winner against United in the Champions League group stage.

The arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo has limited his impact in Turin.

The former Palermo player did not go on Juventus' recent tour of Asia because of his involvement in the Copa America with Argentina.

Manchester United are holding talks that could lead to Paulo Dybala signing from Juventus as part of a swap deal involving Romelu Lukaku.

Dybala’s agent is in England for discussions with United and the player will then decide whether he wants to join the Premier League club. His preference since last season ended has been to stay at Juventus but an attractive offer could change his mind and he knows his employers would like him to go if it clears the way for them to get Lukaku.

Dybala is a creative attacking player who joined Juventus from Palermo in 2015 for an initial ?32m and was part of the Argentina squad at last year’s World Cup and this year’s Copa América. The 25-year-old can play across a variety of attacking roles and scored the only goal in Juventus’s Champions League group victory at Old Trafford last October.

Lukaku has been a prime target for Antonio Conte but Internazionale failed with a £54m bid and have said they cannot increase that.

“We made a strong offer, one that is valid and suited to the transfer value of the player and we were unable to conclude a deal,” the Inter chief executive, Beppe Marotta, told Sky Sport Italia.

That has led Juventus, who are managed by Maurizio Sarri, to try to sign Lukaku. The forward is keen on a transfer after two seasons at United, whom he joined from Everton.

He initially wanted to join Inter, but as they are not able to meet the asking price, Juventus and Man United have come up with an acceptable solution: Big Rom shipped to Juve, Dybala sold to United. Last word for Dybala who has to agree terms with United and has to say ‘yes’.

There’s still some work to be done between the clubs, but everything depends on the willingness of the players to join the other side.

Paulo Dybala intends to hold talks with Maurizio Sarri after he returns to training at Juventus on Thursday before deciding whether to join Manchester United.

The Argentina international is wanted by United, who are offering Romelu Lukaku in a swap deal. Lukaku would be happy to join Juventus but it is not certain that Dybala will accept a move to England.

Dybala told Juventus after last season that he intended to stay and wants to understand Sarri’s plans before making a final decision. Sarri has taken over from Massimiliano Allegri as head coach but has not yet worked with Dybala, who was given time off after the Copa América.

If Sarri informs Dybala that he does not see a regular first-team place for him, the player will give serious consideration to joining United. Even then, though, the 25-year-old, who can play across a variety of attacking positions, will demand wages in line with the top earners at Old Trafford before agreeing to come. His agent was in England on Tuesday for talks with United.

In the meantime Lukaku remains in limbo. The terms on offer at Juventus are not a problem for the striker, who could expect to earn ?8m (£7.3m) a season on a five-year contract. But a move there appears to hinge on Dybala going the other way.

Lukaku has been ready to join Internazionale, who have been trying for weeks to sign him and retain an interest, but Inter have not matched United’s asking price. Their highest offer of ?70m falls some way short of the ?83m demanded by United and they cannot increase that without selling a player.

Difficult hours of very long negotiations. Director of sport for Juventus, Fabio Paratici, is also in London working side by side of the agents of Paulo Dybala and Romelu Lukaku (Pastorello is also in London), along with Manchester United. The goal is to try and come to a solution amongst all parties to bring the swap deal to a close. They are continuing negotiations with cautious optimism. Dybala is expected in Turin and if nothing changes between now and then he will train with Juventus tomorrow and talk to Sarri in the coming days.
