Valon Behrami has left West Ham United to join Fiorentina for an undisclosed fee.
The 25-year-old midfielder expressed his desire to leave the Hammers earlier this month and his wish has now been granted.
The Hammers snapped up Behrami from Lazio in a £5m deal back in 2008, and he went on to score five goals in 63 appearances for the club.
After impressing during his opening season at Upton Park, Behrami suffered a serious knee injury in March 2009 and was sidelined for more than six months.
