Mourinho: "We had enough chances on goal to win the game"
Jose Mourinho highlighted the solid work his team did against Mallorca.
"A positive aspect of our game was that we practically had no problems in defence. We did well there. Another positive aspect were the many chances on goal we had in the second half, which is always tougher on a psychological level. We had enough chances to win the game."
"The score is what's most negative. We didn't play well in the first half, but we improved considerably after half-time and even had five or six chances to score. This team is still under construction and therefore far from reaching its true potential, which means defending, conceding no goals and scoring from the few chances we get is very important. We failed in the latter, but we didn't suffer."
"We need many hours to work, but we won't have much room to improve before our next game because I will only have four first team players available to me this week. We will face Osasuna two days after the arrival of our internationals, and two days after that we'll face Ajax.
