Steven Pienaar poised to move from Everton to Tottenham



Everton's Steven Pienaar has revealed he will join Tottenham after the two clubs agreed a fee of about £2.5m.
The 28-year-old midfielder visited Spurs' training ground on Tuesday and is set to agree a four-year-deal and undergo a medical.
"To end speculation I am going to Spurs," confirmed South Africa international Pienaar on Twitter.
Chelsea also had a bid accepted for Pienaar by Everton, but failed to convince the player to sign.
Neither Tottenham or Everton have confirmed the deal, but Pienaar added: "I've had brilliant years at Everton. It will always be special place in my heart."
The attacker's contract with the Merseyside club expires at the end of this season.
