Interesting to note that Spanish newspaper Sport, who usually know what they're talking about about regarding Barça, claiming that Barcelona have lost control of what'll happen with Matthijs de Ligt. They thought they had him, but "big economical offers" have now entered the fray

Not specific clubs mentioned in the article, mind. But the likes of Man United have previously been written about.

Barcelona ruing that they didn't get him around the same time they went for Frenkie de Jong. Now they are hoping their sporting offer will trump any financial offer.

Personal thought on De Ligt: it's becoming very obvious who his agent is, if the finances are that important for a 19-year old. Also very clear that De Ligt is not going to be talking very openly about this, the same way no Raiola client does. Interesting to see the development.

Raiola's commission isn't the issue with De Ligt to Barcelona, it's the fact his value has increased due to Ajax's CL run. Barca want De Ligt to join their sporting project but he's been offered almost double by other clubs. De Ligt has a decision to make. [Sport, Spain] #mufc
