Denmark coach Morten Olsen has unveiled a 23-man squad that will meet the Netherlands, Cameroon and Japan in Group E of the FIFA World Cup™, the Danish football federation announced.
Olsen had named a provisional squad of 30 and reduced that to 26 ahead of a friendly with Senegal which the former European champions won 2-0 on Thursday.
Palermo defender Simon Kjaer gets the nod despite suffering a knee injury in the friendly against Senegal. Kjaer will undergo medical scans in the coming days to determine the seriousness of his injury.
