Milan is insisting to get Leonardo Bonucci. Contacts between the player's agent Lucci and the different parties have been going on trying to start the negotiations in the coming times.
Juventus is clear, they ask for ?40m without inserting Mattia De Sciglio in the deal as this player would involve other negotiations.
It's now Milan's turn to answer and present their offer to Juve.

Milan-Juventus, the distance closes for Bonucci: the latest

They have already signed many new players during the current market, and now Milan wants to make a statement.
Fassone, Mirabelli and Montella want to add the quality and experience of Leonardo Bonucci to reinforce the Milan defense.
The two clubs are even discussing the transfer of Mattia De Sciglio.
The deals are in fact separate, but tied together through a gentlemen's agreement between the two parties.

Juventus are asking for 40 million euros for Bonucci, and if this deal goes through they will then purchase De Scilgio for 10 million euros.
The issue at this time lies in the valuation of De Sciglio.
Milan's valuation of the player stands at 15 million euros, and Juventus doesn't want to go over 10.
The parties are expected to speak again in the next hours.

Milan, for Bonucci only small details remain

Leonardo Bonucci's transfer to Milan is down to the final details and only an agreement on the bonuses paid to Juventus remains to be decided.
Director Marco Fassone will remain in Italy while the rest of the team heads to China for their preseason tournament in order to reach the final agreement.
Bonucci is expected to be in Milan on Friday morning to mark a deal potentially closed.
His move to Milan is slated to be for ?40m from Juventus.
