Report: Donnarumma to sack Raiola?

Gianluigi Donnarumma could be about to fire agent Mino Raiola, it’s reported, as the agent and the Milan goalkeeper’s family have different views.

The 18-year-old rejected a new contract worth ?5m per season, as Raiola told the media of “threats” and “mobbing” tactics from the Rossoneri directors.

Over the last few days, the club and Coach Vincenzo Montella – who personally visited Donnarumma’s family in their shared hometown Castellammare di Stabia – have put on a charm offensive to win over the player.

According to Mediaset Premium, this further infuriated Raiola, who sent his cousin Enzo (part of his agency) to Poland today for a meeting with Donnarumma as Italy prepare to face Germany in the European Under-21 Championship.

It’s reported that Enzo Raiola will tell the player there is no news from Milan and push him towards Real Madrid instead.

If the family and Raiola continue to have such opposing views on how to progress, it’s increasingly likely that Donnarumma will split with the agent and seek new representation.

It wouldn’t be the first time, as Raiola tried to encourage Marek Hamsik to leave Napoli several years ago, but he refused and hired a different agent.

Previously it seemed that the keeper's decision not to extend his contract with Milan was final, but in the last few hours there has been momentum for a dramatic change of course.
In fact Mino Raiola's cousin Enzo, the person closest to the keeper, has arrived at Italy's Under 21 retreat in Poland.
Has Di Biagio's squad been eliminated yesterday there would have likely been a meeting right between Milan, Raiola and Donnarumma but the qualification to the semifinal the summit is expected to be postponed.

Gianluigi Donnarumma has claimed his Instagram was hacked after it appeared to suggest the goalkeeper would enter contract talks with AC Milan after the European U21 Championship.

The - now deleted - post read: "I want to state again my unconditional love for AC Milan and its fans.

"Now I am focusing only on Italy national team, with whom I hope to do a present to all our fans.

"But I promise that, as soon as the Euro is over, I will meet the club together with my family and my agent in order to discuss a renewal."

The post has now been removed from Instagram and writing on his Twitter account, Donnarumma said: "My account was hacked. Closing social."
