My Sancho-analysis

1 Man UTD must understand that Dortmund want to keep him.That they will double his wages
2.Monday Deadline bad for both clubs. Dortmund can lose face. Man UTD can lose player
3. Image!Dortmund:Selling their best players.Man UTD:Slow/losing players
4. Man UTD need players that excite fans. A global club needs players to match that image
5. Personal contract agreed. Big advantage Man UTD
6. Dortmund can’t keep a player who is unhappy. But so far good dialogue with Sancho
7. Sancho is Solskjær’s number 1 target.
8. Pressure on Woodward to deliver. A player like Fernandes showed the manager/the fans how important one player can be to get closer to the top
9. Dortmund don’t have the financial muscles to turn down 120 mill euro. That’s why they are willing to sell for that amount
10. The fact Sancho is English makes it easier for Man UTD. He has developed big time in Germany. But normal that he “wants to come home”
11. How long does the “peace-agreement” between Team Sancho and Dortmund last if Dortmund tell him that they can’t agree with man UTD?

Jadon Sancho was pictured at a house party in London yesterday, a rep from his agency was also present with him. Tomorrow BvB fly out to Switzerland for their pre-season training camp.

Dortmund trained early yesterday. Today is off.
I guess it’s normal that players want to see their families/friends when they are off

Sancho definitely wants to sign for United this summer but the player will board the flight for BvB’s training camp on Monday if United do not meet BvB's valuation by departure time tomorrow.

Jadon Sancho is now with the team - as normal for a Borussia Dortmund player. BVB and Manchester United in talks by two weeks but still no agreement reached. Personal terms have never been a problem. It’s still up to the clubs.

United & BvB are still struggling to agree a figure on the up-front fee, although the difference is as little as £10m. Sancho may have to take matters into his own hands to get the transfer completed, and possibly even put in a transfer request. [independent]


Sancho & his representatives have been reluctant to intervene due to a good relationship with BvB but they may have to talk to the club about the situation. The feeling among all parties is now that “someone has to act” to break the stalemate. [independent]
