Paulo Dybala says he is "very close" to extending his contract with Juventus. The striker penned a deal until 2020 when he joined Juve from Palermo in the summer of 2015.
He reportedly attracted attention from the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid after his impressive first season with the Old Lady. And although he has not hit the heights in his second campaign, he is apparently close to extending his stay with the Serie A leaders. "We are very close to the renewal and there is very little missing," Dybala told Sky Italia.
"My agent will come to Italy to talk about the last things with [Giuseppe, Juve's chief executive] Marotta, but the will is there on our part."
Juve face Dybala's former club Palermo on Friday, looking to extend their lead at the top of Serie A to 13 points.
Reflecting on his own form, which has seen him score just eight goals in all competitions this season, Dybala said: "Personally I am lacking a few goals, but I have created chances for others.
"I am playing well for the team and I was a bit unlucky against Crotone and Inter."
