Manchester City defender Eliaquim Mangala has had a medical ahead of a move to Valencia, according to reports.
Mangala, who started 24 Premier League games for City last season, is expected to join Valencia on loan for the remainder for the season.
Defender Shkodran Mustafi left Valencia for Arsenal on Tuesday in a deal that could be worth up to £35m to the La Liga side.
Managla, who was part of France's squad for this summer's European Championships, does not appear to feature in manager Pep Guardiola's immediate plans.
Guardiola has already reinforced his defence with the acquisition of John Stones this summer, with Nicolas Otamendi partnering the England international at centre-back in City's last two Premier League games.
Mangala, 25, joined City in a £32m deal from Porto two years ago.
