Sodium sulphite solution is added to iron(III) sulphate solution ,state an expected observation and write an equation for the equation involved.
My method:
Half equation
Fe(III) ion +1electron => Fe(II) ion
Sulphite ion +Water => Sulphate ion + 2 H ion + 2 Electrons
Overall equation
2Fe(III) ion + Water + Sulphite ion => 2Fe (II) ion + Sulphate ion + 2H ion
Chemical equation
Sodium sulphite + iron(III) sulphate => Iron (II) sulphate + Sodium Sulphate
answer of Chemical equation is
Sodium sulphite + iron(III) sulphate => Sodium Sulphate + Iron Sulphite
唔知點解由redox睇好似同用double decompostion 睇好似唔同d咁
