Jose Enrique in talks with Newcastle as he nears Anfield exit
Liverpool full-back Jose Enrique is in talks over a possible return to Newcastle United on deadline day.
The North East outfit have made an approach to sign the Spanish defender, who has no future under Jurgen Klopp at Anfield.
Enrique is out of contract this summer and Liverpool won’t stand in his way if he can agree terms.
It would effectively be a free transfer with any fee likely to be swallowed up by the cash settlement the Reds would have to give Enrique to get him off the books.
