West Ham are close to agreeing a deal to sell striker Nikica Jelavic to Chinese second division side Beijing Ren He.

The transfer is "95 per cent done", according to a source close to the negotiations.

Croatia international Jelavic joined West Ham on a two-year deal from Hull City last September for £2m, but has struggled to secure a regular first-team place with 13 of his 15 appearances coming from the substitutes' bench.

The 30-year-old, who has scored three goals during his time at Upton Park, had spells with Hajduk Split, Waregem, Rapid Vienna, Rangers and Everton before moving to the Tigers for £6.5m in January 2014.

The Chinese transfer window closes on February 26 and West Ham playmaker Dimitri Payet is another target, with an unnamed club prepared to pay £38m for his services, according to Sky sources.

Chinese clubs have already spent more than £100m on European-based players this year, including Jackson Martinez, Ramires and Alex Teixeira.

It looks like one West Ham player will be on their way to China - but it's not Dimitri Payet.

Sky sources understand Nikica Jelavic is close to agreeing a deal to join Chinese second division club Beijing Renhe. It is believed a deal is 95 per cent done, although there's still plenty of time before the Chinese transfer window closes on February 26.

克羅地亞前鋒謝拉域完成加盟中甲球隊北京人和的交易，轉會費為400萬鎊（約4,500萬港元）。現年30歲的謝拉域從英超韋斯咸投身北京人和，這位曾經效力愛華頓及侯城的前鋒，今季不獲槌仔幫重用，因而選擇加入中國球壇。韋斯咸去年以300萬鎊從侯城引入謝拉域，故今次交易可賺取100萬鎊。
