The French club see Ivanovic as an ideal replacement for Gregory Van der Wiel, who is set to move to Inter Milan.

Paris St Germain will see if Branislav Ivanovic is going to be a part of Jose Mourinho’s plans for next season by submitting a bid of £8 million for the defender, the Daily Mirrorreports.
New PSG boss Laurent Blanc has identified Ivanovic as the man to replace Gregory Van der Wiel, who is set to move to Inter Milan.
Although Ivanovic has been a big part of Chelsea’s squad for a number of seasons, PSG believe that they can sign the defender by offering him improved wages.
It is unknown whether Ivanovic is in Mourinho’s plans for next season and the Portuguese coach could be tempted to let the defender go to PSG for the £8 million transfer fee.
Mourinho could make plenty of changes to Chelsea’s defence this summer, with PSG also reportedly interested in David Luiz.
Luiz would be much more expensive than Ivanovic, with Chelsea valuing the Brazilian at around £30 million and reports suggest that the French Champions could face competition from Barcelona for Luiz.
It is highly doubtful that Mourinho would let both Ivanovic and Luiz leave this summer but the Portuguese manager maybe tempted to cash in on one of them.

Chelsea’s Branislav Ivanovic is believed to be pondering the next phase of his career.
The Daily Mail suggests the Serbian defender may reject a proposal from Paris Saint-Germain in order to extend his contract with the Blues.
29-year old Ivanovic has emerged as a target for new PSG boss Laurent Blanc but wants to remain at Stamford Bridge for the foreseeable future.

Branislav Ivanovic is happy to stay with Chelsea under manager Jose Mourinho.
A £9.5million buy from Lokomotiv Moscow in 2008, Ivanovic is now -hoping to finish his career with the Premier League outfit.
A source close to the player told the Daily Star Sunday: “All being well, Branislav would like to be a Chelsea player for the remainder of his playing days at the highest -level.
“He is definitely staying at Chelsea. He loves Mourinho’s style and is keen to play for the new coach.
“He has been told that he does have a future at the club and, while there was the possibility of him -going to Barcelona, he is happier staying in -London.”
