The report claims that national team coach Raymond Domenech was far from happy with the way Florent Malouda imposed himself during Thursday's training session.
Domenech reportedly asked skipper Patrice Evra to tell Malouda to play less aggressively during a practice game, but the Chelsea midfielder was not impressed with Evra's words.
Shortly after, Domenech came onto the pitch to have a word with Malouda and the France coach even threatened to take the Chelsea star off the training pitch if he didn't calm down.
Things quickly calmed down after that and it appears likely that Malouda will be part of the starting XI against Uruguay. However, the incident underlines the tension in the French team ahead of their first World Cup match.
