Kroos reportedly confirms he’s heading for Real Madrid
As Germany celebrated their World Cup triumph against Argentina, central midfielder Toni Kroos confirmed his destination this summer, will be the Santiago Bernabéu and Real Madrid.
Whilst it’s been speculated and to a certain extent, expected over recent weeks, when it comes to the transfer of Toni Kroos from Bayern Munich to Real Madrid, there had been no official words as yet from the clubs or the player. That is until now, when the delighted World Cup winner apparently uttered the words everyone has been waiting to hear, to German radio station ZDF.
“We’ve finished the World Cup in the best way possible. Now I’m going to Madrid, so that’s two dreams achieved.”
Now it’s expected that the two clubs will officially confirm the deal, costing around ?25 million, with Kroos set to be presented at the Bernabéu next week for Real Madrid, according to reports in Spain.
