Juventus have confirmed the termination of Zdenek Grygera's contract following a four-year stint at the club and the development in Turin is likely to end up with a move to Premier League side Fulham.
On Sunday Grygera said he was hoping to secure a switch to Craven Cottage while confirming he was leaving Juventus.
A statement confirming the split has been released by the Italian side on Tuesday.
The note reads: "After four years, the experience of Zdenek Grygera at Juventus has terminated.
"The Czech player has rescinded his contract by mutual consent."
Fulham now look poised to make their free move for the 31-year-old defender.

Elia pens four-year Juventus deal

Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announces that the agreement with Hamburger Sport-Verein e.V. for the definitive acquisition of the registration rights of the Dutch player Eljero Elia has been finalized. The contract envisages the payment by Juventus of ? 9 million in three instalments: ? 4 million at the international transfer release, ? 2.5 million on 31 January 2012 and ? 2.5 million on 31 January 2013.
The purchase value may increase by a further of ? 1 million on achieving given sports performances in the course of the duration of the contract.
Juventus and the player have signed a 4-year contract of employment.

Grygera Signs

Fulham Football Club is delighted to confirm the free transfer signing of defender Zdenek Grygera on a one-year deal with an option for a further year.
The 31-year-old spent four seasons at Juventus and has the versatility to play in a number of defensive positions.
Grygera represented the Czech Republic at the 2004 and 2008 European Championships and at the World Cup finals in Germany in 2006. He made 52 appearances for his country between 2001 and 2008.
Grygera made his first senior appearance for FK Svit Zlin in 1997 having progressed through the Czech side’s youth team. He moved to Petra Drnovice in 1998 before making the move to Sparta Prague in 2000.
He signed for Ajax in 2003 and made 78 appearances scoring 8 times for the Amsterdam club before signing for Juventus in 2007.
Grygera came on as a substitute at Craven Cottage in March 2010, during Fulham’s memorable 4-1 Europa League win against Juventus.
Following his move to Craven Cottage, Grygera said:
“I am delighted to have completed my transfer to Fulham Football Club today. It has always been an ambition for me to play in the Premier League and I am looking forward to an exciting new chapter in my career with Fulham.”
