Balotelli late for Inter training

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Mario Balotelli has reported late for his first Inter training session with Rafael Benitez.

The want-away striker, who has been strongly linked with Chelsea and the two Manchester clubs, was seven minutes late for the team's first meeting and the first to depart from the training centre.

Benitez, who recently took over treble-winning manager Jose Mourinho at the San Siro, has expressed his desire to build a positive relationship with the problematic Italian but it appears that the 19-year-old has no intention to change his ways.

With a move out of the San Siro a matter of sooner rather than later, the Inter coach could be relieved from the arduous duty of controlling the youngster this season.
