Juventus & Wolfsburg Meet To Discuss Diego Transfer - Report
The two clubs are reportedly in talks over the Brazilian playmaker...
Juventus and Wolfsburg were thought to have met to talk about the possible transfer of Edin Dzeko to the Bianconeri, but it has come to light that the discussions were actually over playmaker Diego, according to reports.
Bild claims that Juventus sporting director Giuseppe Marotta and Wolfsburg director Dieter Hoeness were locked in negotiations for a ?16 million move for the Brazilian.
Diego didn't live up to the expectations his price-tag commanded, failing to help the Bianconeri win any silverware last season.
Diego was brought across from Werder Bremen for a fee of ?25 million last summer, and should he return to the Bundesliga, would command a salary of approximately ?6m per season.
