Barcelona's interest in Palermo magician Javier Pastore has become ubiquitous, but Milan are ready to tame it by launching an ambitious move - but the clubs will need at least ?70 million to satisfy the Sicilians.
Sport.es claims the Blaugrana's desire for Pastore has increased steadily, leading to a surge in contact between the clubs as well as with the player's agent Marcelo Simonian.
The Catalan giants are also trying to use Lionel Messi's influence to help spread their interest and sell themselves to Pastore.
Publicly Palermo have claimed their man is not for sale, but the latest club to challenge that belief is Milan.
Tuttopalermo.net claims the Rossoneri are ready to rekindle a past interest in the Argentinian ace after Silvio Berlusconi claimed he wanted to sign him when he played for Huracan.
"I wanted Pastore when he was in Argentina, but it was not possible to sign everyone."
Palermo are unlikely to afford Milan the opportunity to snare Pastore, but Berlusconi needs no invitation and will help himself if given the chance.
The club knows there is big money surrounding Pastore. The Sicilians' president Maurizio Zamparini recently claimed his man was worth ?70m.
"Pastore will win the Ballon D'Or and he is worth ?70m," he told Sky Sport Italia.
