Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has described Captain Thiery Henry's neck injury as a "short-term" problem.
But Wenger would not be drawn on whether or not Henry would be back in action for the Gunners before Christmas.
Henry revealed prior to the match that it had been agreed he should rest up for a while and Wenger was reluctant to put a time frame on his comeback.
Asked if Henry would return before Christmas, Wenger told Sky Sports Prem Plus: "I don't know. We have to sit down together and see what's happening."
Pressed on whether he regarded Henry's injury as short-term or long-term, Wenger replied: "I feel it is a short-term one.
Wenger is confident his side can manage without talisman Henry in the coming week, adding: "This team is not a one-team player, it would be disrespectful to Thierry to think that. We have 22 players and it's down to me to make a very good team."
