Wenger - No decision made on Stokes
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has insisted no decision has yet been made over the future of teenage striker Anthony Stokes.
The 18-year-old scored 16 goals on loan with Falkirk in the SPL, alerting plenty of other team's to the Irishman's potential - with Charlton said to be leading the chase.
However, Wenger said: "Nothing is decided because there are some other clubs in for him.
"In the end it will be Stokes who makes the choice."
The Gunners boss also revealed no firm conclusion had yet been made on whether any move would be a loan until the end of the season or a permanent deal.
He said: "We have a congestion of strikers and it is very unfair just to stop somebody because we have too much congestion in front of him."
And Wenger insists his relationship with new Addicks boss Alan Pardew - having been involved in a touchline bust-up at West Ham earlier in the season - would have no impact on a potential permanent move to The Valley.
Wenger said: "I would never stop a player going somewhere because I do not like the manager - but if it is a loan, it can affect me.
"However, even then it is more the football which the manager plays and possibly how he can develop the player.
"The future of the player should depend on that."
Meanwhile, Italian forward Arturo Lupoli could be on his way back to Italy once his loan spell with Derby ends, according to reports.
Wenger said: "I will respect what he wants to do."
