DENVER (AP) -- Marcus Camby, the NBA's leading rebounder and second-leading shot blocker, was held out of the Denver Nuggets' game against the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday night because of a bruised right leg.
Camby was injured when he collided with an opponent Wednesday night in Detroit.
Besides leading the league with 13.9 rebounds per game, Camby is second in the NBA to Miami's Alonzo Mourning in blocked shots (3.31) and has posted 10 double-doubles this season.
With Camby out, Kenyon Martin was in the starting lineup to play consecutive games for the first time in two weeks. His sore left knee still hasn't fully recovered from an offseason operation.
