News: Toronto guard Kyle Lowry, who suffered an ankle sprain Tuesday against Oklahoma City, missed Wednesday's game at Dallas, reports the team's PR staff. Jose Calderon got the start for Lowry as he is considered day to day for the Raptors.
Analysis: Lowry's status will be reassessed daily going forward until he's able to make his return to the court. It sounds like Lowry might have to miss more than just one game. Calderon could see a nice short-term Fantasy boost. Lowry has averaged 18.3 points, 6.3 assists and 5.8 rebounds per game with 3.0 steals and two 3-pointers in his first four contests. When healthy, he is a must-start Fantasy guard.

Crawford not 100 percent in return: Washington guard Jordan Crawford returned to action Wednesday night at Boston despite continuing to feel an ankle injury. Crawford was cleared to play but saw just 15 minutes as the ankle is not yet 100 percent. Crawford shot just 1 of 6 from the field and scored two points in the overtime loss. Crawford grabbed two rebounds and added two assists for the Wizards.

Fantasy Analysis
Crawford dropped 21 points on the Celtics the last time he faced them. He clearly isn't 100 percent yet but he's going to keep playing for the Wizards. He should get back to full strength shortly and will continue to spell Bradley Beal when he struggles as a rookie. Fantasy owners should consider him a quality option in deeper formats.
