PENNANT VOTED FANS STAR MAN V MACCABI
Jermaine Pennant was voted Liverpool's star performer during the 2-1 Champions League victory over Maccabi Haifa on Wednesday by the Reds fans in an exclusive vote on this website.
The new boy was also voted Liverpoolfc.tv's man of the match after a very pleasing to the eye debut on home turf.

1. Jermaine Pennant. An excellent debut from Liverpool's new right winger. Good in possession and with a willingness to take on defenders and make things happen for Liverpool.
2. Momo Sissoko. Outstanding in central midfield, Momo's energy levels were quite astonishing for so early in the season. He put in some fine tackles and played a part in Craig Bellamy's equaliser when his shot was saved.
3. Mark Gonzalez. What a debut! The Chile international was only on the field for four minutes but scored a superb goal to give Liverpool a vital lead to take into the second leg.
