ESPN's Steven A. Smith is reporting that the Raptors have traded Guard-Foward Jalen Rose and a Pick to the Knicks for Foward-Center Antonio Davis. Rose has been rumored to New York for almost two Years now; it almost came to fruition last Year when Vince Carter was on the move.

It is in all likelihood that the Pick will be the Denver one acquired in the Raptor-Nets trade last Year. Rose has Career averages of 12 PPG, 3 RPG, and 2.5 APG. He's capable of playing PG, SG, and SF. Davis has Career averages of 5 PPG, and 5 RPG, and is a hard-nosed Frontcourt Player capable of playing PF and C. [R

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) -- Los Angeles Lakers forward Lamar Odom sat out Friday night's game against the Charlotte Bobcats with a sprained rib.

It's the first game Odom has missed this season. He was injured on Wednesday against Indiana while fighting for a loose ball between two defenders. He's struggled to lift his arms since he was hurt.



"I can't sleep and I can't bathe properly," Odom said.

Devean George started in Odom's place and coach Phil Jackson said they would ask guard Kobe Bryant to help out.

Jackson wasn't sure how long Odom will be out, but indicated it could be through the All-Star break later this month.
