Nigerian defender Festus Baise served up a quite spectacular strike past his goalkeeper during Sun Hei SC's 3-2 defeat at the hands of Citizen AA in the Hong Kong first division on Friday.
Some have described it as a reverse scorpion kick, like Colombian goalkeeper Rene Higuita's save against England in 1995.
Others have compared it to Wayne Rooney's incredible overhead effort against Manchester City in February, which has been nominated for FIFA's Goal of the Year.
One thing is for certain, if football's global body dished out gongs for strikes at the wrong end, this beauty would top the lot.
