West Brom set to sell Ideye and Dorrans?

"West Brom have agreed a fee to sell Brown Ideye to Quatari club Al-Gharafa - 5m euros, around £4m - but payment methods still to be finalised and the Middle East deadline is not till 19 Feb.

"If Ideye leaves, that would be a major hit for West Brom, having paid a club record £10m for the Nigeria striker from Dynamo Kiev only last summer.

"Graham Dorrans is on his way to Norwich to discuss a permanent transfer to Norwich from West Brom. The clubs have agreed a fee of £4m for the Scottish international midfielder. Burnley are also interested.

"In terms of players arriving at The Hawthorns, interest in Darren Fletcher, Etienne Capoue and Carlton Cole is still strong but Rickie Lambert from Liverpool is viewed as a long-shot. A move for Swansea's left-back Neil Taylor is looking less likely now."

Forlan signs new deal

BBC World Service Sport's John Bennett: "Diego Forlan moved to Manchester United in the January transfer window back in 2002 and at the age of 35 he's still active on deadline day.

"The Uruguay international has signed a six month contract extension the Japanese J-League football club Cerezo Osaka.

"Forlan can still find the back of the net, he's scored seven goals in 26 matches this season."

QPR have made a second approach for the loan signing of striker Dani Osvaldo.

The towering forward has spent the first half of this season with Inter Milan, and is thought to prefer another loan move somewhere in his native Italy.

He was sent out on loan to Juventus this time last year after headbutting Saints captain Jose Fonte during a training ground bust-up, and was farmed out once again to Inter last August.

Although the agreement with Inter is for the entire season director Piero Ausilio is keen to cut Osvaldo's move short and has travelled to London for talks with Rangers.

The Foxes, who signed Stoke City centre-back Robert Huth earlier today, had been trying to sign both Aaron Lennon and Etienne Capoue from Spurs.

From 9pm Prem clubs can submit 'deal sheet'; agreement between clubs/player. Must be in by 11pm so paperwork can complete by 1am latest.
