"He is not available. It is hard to put a timeline on it, he can still feel pain in the knee. It is just when he is striking the ball there is an issue, so we have to try to get to the bottom of that," Rodgers told the press.
"I just had a quick chat with Jamie, he had been outside and he had been running in straight lines, but when he was opening up the MCL, when he was striking the ball, he had a little bit of pain in that.
"I will have to speak with the medical team to see where that is at. It does not sound as if he is too close to being back."
The 35-year-old has been out of action since Leicester faced Leeds United on March 5, where he sustained his knee injury.
