Neville suffers new injury blow
Manchester United defender Gary Neville has suffered a new injury setback.
Neville, 32, has not played for United's first team since breaking his ankle against Bolton in March.
He has since suffered other problems and boss Sir Alex Ferguson has scrapped plans to include him in the squad to face AS Roma in the Champions League.
Ferguson said: "It is disappointing. He has gone back to the specialist for him to have another look at it, but there is nothing positive on that at all."
Neville played for United's reserves in November, but has also been hampered by calf and thigh problems.
Despite that, Ferguson repeated his previous assertion that Neville's problems are not career-threatening.
"It is not getting serious," he said. "He just keeps getting niggling injuries.
"It is a concern that he gets small setbacks every time he gets ready to play. We need to sort it out and get him back as soon as possible."
