Arsenal sign Brazil's Denilson
Amidst all the furore of the transfers between Ashley Cole and José Antonio Reyes, another signing was taking place late last night for Arsenal.
The Gunners have clinched the signing of Brazil Under-19 captain Denilson Pereira Neves.
The highly-rated attacking midfielder won the FIFA Club World Championship, Libertadores Cup and South American Championship (U-17) in 2005, marking a unique "treble" for a 19-year-old.
The transfer fee is thought to be in the region of £4 million, a bit surprising for a 19-year-old but it may be that we're paying for his potential.
