Aguero not set for Juve
Striker's agent dismisses claims a deal to Italian club is in the offing

Sergio Aguero's agent has denied reports that the Atletico Madrid striker has agreed to join Juventus.

It had been suggested that Juve were closing in on the signing of the Argentina international, for a fee in the region of £22million.

But the claims have been quelled, with Aguero's representative, Hernan Reguera, insisting no talks have been held with the Serie A club.

"Sergio has two agents and we have both been in Argentina, we have not met anyone," Reguera told Spanish newspaper AS.

"We have not been in Italy or anywhere, we are in Argentina working on his future. He is quiet, he has delegated this to us and is now focused on the Copa America.

"It is clear that Kun is eager to play Champions League football next season. However, it will not be a decisive factor in the decision on his future. We are currently considering his options and many factors play a role in his decision."

Aguero has been linked with several of Europe's top sides, including Chelsea, Manchester City and Real Madrid.

Skysports.com understands that Sunderland are set to win the race to sign Seb Larsson.

The Sweden international has been considering his options since Birmingham's relegation from the Premier League.

The 26-year-old midfielder turned down a move to the continent, despite interest from La Liga, to remain in England.

Fulham, Aston Villa and Arsenal are all believed to have made offers to Larsson, but he has now opted to make the switch to the North East.

Sunderland boss Steve Bruce signed him for Birmingham and we now understand he has agreed a deal to take him to the Stadium of Light.

His former club Arsenal had offered him the chance to return to North London but knowing he would be a squad player with the Gunners was seemingly enough to put him off the move.

West Brom target Getafe midfielder

Skysports.com understands that West Bromwich Albion have launched a bid for Ghana midfielder Derek Boateng.

The Baggies are looking to bolster their midfield ranks and have now made a move for the talented 28-year-old, who is currently with Getafe.

Boateng previously saw a move to England collapse almost a decade ago when Steve McClaren tried to sign him at Middlesbrough, but he could not gain a work permit.

Now he is a fully fledged Ghana international and a permit would no longer be an issue.

Ukrainian outfit FC Dnipro have also launched a bid and appeared on course to land him, but there has now been late interest from England which could scupper their hopes.

"Derek is obviously flattered by the interest in England," his British representative Chris Nathaniel confirmed to skysports.com

"He knows the interest is strong and we are aware that at least one bid has been made for him."

West Brom are not the only side to be planning a move for Boateng.

Skysports.com understands that both Sunderland and Stoke are considering bids.

Aston Villa were also previously interested, but given their current managerial situation, it is unclear if they would be tempted into a move.

Marcelo Bielsa turns down Inter approach - report

The Argentine tactician has decided not to accept Inter's offer to replace Leonardo as the club's head coach

Experienced head coach Marcelo Bielsa has turned down the opportunity to replace Leonardo at Inter ahead of the 2011-12 campaign, Sky Sport 24 reports.

After initially denying the rumours linking Bielsa with the club, Inter president Massimo Moratti admitted on Wednesday that there had been contact between the Coppa Italia winners and the Argentine tactician.

Nevertheless, the 2010 Champions League winners have been unable to convince Bielsa to move to Italy's fashion capital as he has rejected Inter's offer to take the reins at San Siro.

Inter are reportedly not the only ones to get turned down by Bielsa though as the Italians are the third European club to be snubbed in the last month. The 55-year-old had previously been linked with Roma and Sevilla.

It's yet to be determined what Bielsa's refusal means for the future of current head coach Leonardo. The Brazilian is reportedly close to taking over at Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain as the club's sporting director, but it is doubtful that Inter will release Leonardo until they have found a suitable replacement.
