Andre Gomes to Spurs?
Tottenham Hotspur are closing in on the loan signing of midfielder Andre Gomes from Barcelona.

There is growing confidence at Spurs that they will beat West Ham United to the season-long loan signature of Gomes today, following more talks.

Gomes only joined Barcelona from Valencia last summer, but has suffered a difficult time at the Nou Camp and wants to play regular football. Prior to his switch to Barca, Gomes was rated as one of the best midfield prospects in Europe which is why Tottenham are keen to try to kick-start his career.

West Ham have not given up on Gomes yet, but privately believe he is likely to join their London rivals.

Spurs remain interested in Ross Barkley and have held fresh talks with Everton over the midfielder, who has been the subject of a bid from Chelsea. Arsenal have also considered a late move for Barkley, but the injured 23-year-old could yet stay at Goodison Park and run down his contract.

Milan-Torino, agreement reached for Niang: the details



After the advanced talks that took place in the last hours, M'Baye Niang's transfer from Milan to Torino is practically done.
An agreement has been found for 20 million euros (including bonuses), and the formula is an initial loan with an obligation to purchase.
The clubs are now exchanging documents.

SAKHO SET FOR TALKS

We understand Diafra Sakho is now on his way to the London Stadium for talks about his future with West Ham.

He was in the car park at Chelmsford racecourse as his advisers watched their horse Siege of Boston win the 3.20 in a photo-finish at 9/2.

Sakho has spoken to West Ham on the phone today to discuss “off-field personal issues”.

We asked his advisers whether Sakho was staying at West Ham or moving to Rennes and have been told: “West Ham are aware of his off-field personal issues”.

West Ham’s position remains that he is not for sale.
