昨晚萬眾矚目的北倫敦   打吡中，熱刺   作客3-2反勝阿仙奴   。賽後意氣風發的哈利列納表示，熱刺可以憧憬稱雄英超。

「今屆的英超冠軍爭奪是開放的，前所未有的開放。車路士   和曼聯   都有所退步，他們不再是無敵的了。昨天我就告訴球員，爲什麽不去爭取一下冠軍呢？我不是空想者，我是一個很現實的人，但我們的確有能力奪冠。保頓   兩周前打擊了我們，但今天我們卻擊敗了阿仙奴，所以一切皆有可能。」列納在賽後的新聞發佈會上說。

熱刺上半場表現差勁，但下半場表現迅速回勇，列納認為對陣舊主的加拿斯發揮重要作用。

「加拿斯今天表現十分出色，我認為他是我們的最佳球員。加拿斯很少說話，但他在場上的表現十分專業，他很好地幫助了其他隊友，他的經驗讓我們受益匪淺。」（Goal.com）

球員通常最怕入雪櫃，因為被人「雪」，即係唔受重用，就算喺雪櫃出返嚟時，都可能因為雪到硬晒而冇好表現；不過，英超球隊熱刺今屆表現咁好，竟然就係靠放啲球員入雪櫃度！

熱刺雖然剛剛喺上周六場英超聯被伯明翰逼和，痛失 2 分，但呢支倫敦球隊今屆其實表現唔錯，目前排第 5，但只落後榜首嘅阿仙奴 6 分，喺歐聯又成功晉級 16 強，狀態可以用火熱嚟形容。原來，熱刺近況咁好，係同球會派球員接受氣溫攝氏零下 130 度至零下 140 度嘅冷凍療法有關。

據講，熱刺喺大戰之後就會送球員到赫特福德郡一間健康中心，並喺嗰度接受冷凍療法。球員首先要赤裸上身，但就着上厚長襪、戴上長手套，另外仲要用頭箍包住耳仔同戴上特製口罩，跟住就先入去一個氣溫攝氏零下 60 度嘅房到坐下「熱身」，之後就要喺一間充滿液態氮，並只得氣溫攝氏零下 130 度至零下 140 度嘅房入面 3 分鐘，之後就返回室溫（攝氏 20 度左右）嘅地方，接受醫生檢查。

健康中心嘅主理醫生連拿達話：「冷凍療法嘅原理係喺極寒環境下，人類求生本能就會啟動，大腦會確保身體各主要器官運作最好，保住生命，所以可以講係對身體器官嘅操練；而之後返到室溫『解凍』時，血管就會比平時擴張多 3、 4 倍，令到更多血液同埋氧氣到有傷患嘅地方，從而加速患處康復。」

之前熱刺嘅前鋒迪科爾、後衞京治及當臣，就試過以冷凍療治嚟治理傷患，而呢個療治嘅最新信徒，就係今季加盟熱刺嘅荷蘭國腳中場雲達華治。之前一向有「玻璃腳」之稱嘅雲達華治，雖然目前正受鼠蹊傷患困擾，但佢今屆傷患明顯減少，唔通真係同冷凍療法有關。接受冷凍療法嘅，除咗係熱刺球員之外，熱刺嘅副領隊邦特同埋一隊教練祖佐敦就都有接受冷凍治療，不過， 63 歲的領隊哈利列納就冇份。唔通哈利列納一向寒底，唔需要冷凍治療？

Carlo extends contract

The Club is delighted to announce that Carlo Cudicini has signed a one-year contract extension which runs until 2012.

The Italian goalkeeper, who joined us from Chelsea in January 2009, was part of our starting XI that sealed a memorable 3-1 win against European champions Inter Milan in the Champions League group phase earlier this season and has now made a total of 25 appearances for the Club.

The injury-plagued centre-back has had to undergo yet another operation and, despite it going according to plan, he will miss the club's pre-season tour of South Africa

Tottenham defender Ledley King has been forced to have to have another operation, this time on his left knee.

The north London side's captain has struggled with injuries throughout his career and had an arthroscopy last night, and the club have confirmed the minor operation was a success.

Tottenham released a statement which reads: "Ledley King underwent a successful arthroscopy on his left knee last night.

"The defender is expected to rest for up to 10 days before progressing to full activity within a further 10 days."

Despite the surgery being successful, King has been ruled out of the club’s pre-season tour to South Africa.

The 30-year-old featured on only nine occasions last season, and has failed to play in over 30 games since the 2004-05 campaign.

Following consultation with an independent knee specialist, Sandro underwent surgery on his left knee in London this evening (Friday).‬

‪The Brazil international was forced to withdraw from his country's Copa America campaign on Tuesday due to injury with scans confirming he had torn his lateral meniscus, as well as suffering a calf strain. ‬

The specialist has advised a three month rehabilitation period before a return to full training.‬
