Aston Villa.....totally not worth it to wake so early to watch it!
Sissoko proved once again how ineffective and unconfident he is when with the ball. Great that he was substituted rather early. I don't understand why Pennant is not a regular first team. Every time when he came out, he delivered a lot of quality cross and was able to take defenders 1-on-1. Suddenly so many chances come from the right.
It's very tired for Kuyt to play a holding position upfront. For one he's not that type of striker, like van Nistelrooy or Yakubu. And second, I feel the wingers and Gerrard didn't provide enough support and run to him. So what we see is again a very diligent Kuyt, but to no avail.
What a boring game....................!!! Next stop: Arsenal!!
