Adem Ljajic: Likely to leave Fiorentina soon


Fiorentina forward Adem Ljajic is not likely to stay at the club much longer, admits co-owner Andrea Della Valle.
The Serbian's contract runs out at the end of the season and, with negotiations between the club and the player stalling, it is reported that the Viola want to sell him in this transfer window to avoid losing him on a Bosman.
Speaking before his side beat Grasshopper Zurich 2-1 on Thursday night, Della Valle said: "Ljajic? I cannot give any answers right now, but there are several different options available.
"Ljajic could still stay at Fiorentina, though there's not much chance of that happening."
Della Valle also confirmed the club have signed Uruguayan midfielder Matias Vecino Falero from Nacional.

LIVERPOOL and TOTTENHAM'S chances of landing Fiorentina star Adem Ljajic have been given a massive boost after it was revealed he will be leaving Florence in the coming days.


Viola star Adem LjajicThe Tuscan side's owner Andre Della Valle revealed he expected the starlet to depart from the club, following the decision to omit him from the squad to face Catania on Monday night.
Ljajic's future at the club has been called into question after it was revealed he would be placed on the market if he failed to agree to a contract renewal.
And following a meeting last week, it seems the Serbian ace is heading for a new teams this term.
Della Valla commented this week that Ljajic was left out because of the recent transfer upheaval, while revealing the club haven't ruled out selling him to Serie A rival AC Milan.


Adem Ljajic has been linked to both Liverpool and TottenhamHe said: "The boy is a bit nervous, and Montella has decided not to bring him here.
"In the coming days he will almost certainly leave Florence. Not selling to Milan? Never say never."
Liverpool boss, Brendan Rodgers, is keen to add to his squad before the transfer window shuts, and it is believed Ljajic could be available for around ?9m (£7.5m), while Spurs have been keeping tabs on the exciting 21-year-old this summer.

The A Adem Ljajic. S. Rome S.p.A. announces that it has signed a contract with ACF Fiorentina for the definitive acquisition of the rights to the player Adem Ljajic, against a consideration of ? 11 million. The agreement also provides for the recognition of a variable fee, up to a maximum of ? 4 million for bonuses linked to the achievement by the Players and AS Rome of certain athletic goals.
