Levante and Real Madrid have confirmed that they have reached an agreement over the transfer of goalkeeper Jesus Fernandez. The player, who had been Los Blancos’ third-choice keeper,
will move to the Estadio Ciutat de Valencia on a two-year contract with an option for two further seasons. No figures were disclosed in the statements released by the clubs on their official websites.
Levante have announced that the 26-year-old will be unveiled on Wednesday, with the time yet to be confirmed.
Announcing the transfer, Real Madrid took the opportunity to thank Fernandez for “his professionalism
and dedication all these years,” adding: “We wish him the best of luck in his new journey.”
