Eto'o lands Golden Foot award The 2015 Golden Foot has a winner. It is the former Cameroon international striker Samuel Eto'o who currently plies his trade at Turkish side Antalyaspor.The trophy rewards players over the age of 29 who are still making waves in world football.
Eto'o is the second African player to be awarded the accolade. Ivory Coast's Didier Drogba won it in 2013.
The Cameroonian takes over from 2014 winner Andrés Iniesta, his former Barça teammate.
The previous winners of the award are: Roberto Baggio (2003), Pavel Nedved (2004), Andriy Shevchenko (2005), Ronaldo Nazário (2006), Alessandro Del Piero (2007), Roberto Carlos (2008),
Ronaldinho (2009), Francesco Totti (2010), Ryan Giggs (2011), Zlatan Ibrahimovic (2012) and Didier Drogba (2013).
