Kalinic to Milan imminent

It’s reported Fiorentina striker Nikola Kalinic’s move to Milan could be completed as soon as tomorrow.

The Rossoneri have been trying to sign the Croatian for several weeks, but the Viola wouldn’t budge from their ?30m asking price.

Now Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that the Diavolo are ready to raise the bonuses included in the deal to meet that price.

As a result the transfer is thought to be imminent, given that Kalinic has already expressed his desire to move to San Siro, and it could be completed as soon as tomorrow.

The striker’s agent Fali Ramadani has been staying in Milan for several weeks at a hotel in Piazza della Repubblica, indicating that he expects a deal to be concluded.

Today is Ferragosto, a public holiday in Italy, so it’s unlikely there will be any significant developments today, but things could be concluded before the Rossoneri’s Europa League tie with Shkendija.

Fiorentina accepts Milan's offer for Kalinic

After a summer of negotiations, Fiorentina have accepted Milan's offer for Nikola Kalinic.
The final figures are 5 million euros for the loan plus the mandatory option to buy at 20 million euros for a total of 25 million euros.
During the evening, there was a definite agreement to give the player the signal for him to leave for Milano from Croatia to undergo his medical visits and physical tests before signing his contract with Milan.
Kalinic is now in Milan's orbit.

MILAN CLOSE ON KALINIC

AC Milan are closing in on the ?25m (£22.9m) signing of Nikola Kalinic, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The former Blackburn Rovers forward is in advanced talks with the Serie A club to become their new striker, following Carlos Bacca’s loan move to Villarreal.

KALINIC EDGING CLOSER TO AC MILAN MOVE

Big-spending AC Milan have signalled the imminent arrival of Croatian striker Nikola Kalinic from Fiorentina.

The 29-year-old former Blackburn player scored 15 Serie A goals for Fiorentina last season but failed to attend training earlier this week as rumours of an imminent move to San Siro began to circulate.

The Tuscans said Kalinic would be punished according to club rules for his unexplained absence.

Kalinic, whose transfer was on Sunday teased in a tweet from Milan featuring his initials and a Croatian flag emoji, will join the likes of Leonardo Bonucci, Andre Silva, Mateo Musacchio, Ricardo Rodriguez and Lucas Biglia in committing to the Rossoneri cause ahead of an expected assault on the Scudetto.

Under their new Chinese owners, Milan have spent well over 200m euros on new players this summer, also securing their highly-rated teenage goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma on a long-term contract amid reported interest from Real Madrid and Paris St Germain.

Nikola Kalinic has undergone the initial part of his medical ahead of a move to AC Milan.

Italian media report the Fiorentina striker will join on a one-year loan for ?5m (£4.6m), with the obligation to make the move permanent for an additional ?20m (£18.3).
