Juventus confirm Bendtner medical
Juventus general director Beppe Marotta has discussed the impending arrival of Nicklas Bendtner and the failed transfer of Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov, who instead opted to join Fulham.
Arsenal had been looking to get rid of Bendtner all summer with AC Milan looking like his most likely destination. However, Juventus tabled a late offer after Milan eventually turned to Bojan Krkcic and M'Baye Niang.
Marotta told Sky Italia: "For Bendtner we are nearly there. Tomorrow there will be a medical and then if all goes well the contract signing.
"There was no surprise with Berbatov, these are situations that have happened although rarely in the past and he did not make a good impression. We have not committed any impropriety and we look forward with confidence."
