Agreement with Malaga for the transfer of Jesus Gamez 
Atletico de Madrid and Malaga CF have reached an agreement for the transfer of Jesus Gamez (Fuengirola, Malaga, 1985) to our Club. The fullback has committed with the red and white Club for the
next three seasons once he passes the corresponding medical tests. Gamez, 29 years old, has spent his entire sporting career linked to Malaga.
The defender came to Malaga’s first team in 2005 from the farm team, where he was trained as a footballer since he was a cadet.
During the past season, Gamez played 28 matches, all of them in the starter team.
Jose Luis Perez Caminero, our Club’s Sporting Manager, was satisfied with the arrival of Jesus Gamez to the Vicente Calderon:
"Gamez is a fullback with quality and experience who will reinforce our defence and increase the group’s internal competitiveness.
He can also play in a central position, allowing us to have other variables in the defensive game. His experience will be helpful to the group".
