Scottish Secretary Alistair Carmichael holds Orkney and Shetland for the Lib Dems. It's the first Scottish seat declared so far not to go to the SNP. However, his majority is cut from 9,928 to 817.

他代表保守黨出戰漢普郡的哈文特選區（Havant），以2.3萬票當選，大幅拋離對手，得票比第二的工黨候選人多一倍。

麥大粒在英國約克長大，父母在上世紀70年代移民英國。

The London Mayor couldn't help a sneaky look at his speech while the results were being read out. Boris Johnson won 22,511 votes in his Uxbridge and South Ruislip constituency. Labour got about half as many votes.

Lib Dem leader Nick Clegg has held onto his Sheffield Hallam seat with 22,315 votes. Labour came in second with around 19,800.
